The UN’s monthly report shows continued human rights violations are taking place in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine. The now well used formula of armed men, road blocks, disappearing reporters and intimidation has been causing people to leave these areas.
Ray of hope? CBC Radio One’s Metro Morning programme reported this morning that steel-workers in Donetsk are helping to bring back some civil order.
PS: I have been away on a school reunion trip. It is so nice to be able to leave and return to one’s home. No hassles during the four-country visit about which language you speak, or ethnic background. We should all give thanks for that, and help achieve the same for Ukraine.
