Quiet in Eastern Ukraine?

As perĀ Deutsche Welle (DW), Ukrainian troops are preparing to pull artillery back in support of the agreement reached in Minsk last week. The insurgents are to do the same, creating a 30km buffer zone around Donetsk and Luhansk.

Whilst artillery duels appear to have gone quiet, there are reports of continuing fighting, Russian support/ingress, and deaths.

With winter approaching, and the need for heating rises, the advantage will move to Russia.
