It’s been a week since my last post.
Must give a big thanks to George&Liz , and Susan&Matt, who provided great food, great entertainment and a bed for the night, in Chattanooga.
That day had been spent riding from Nashville in rain. So big thanks to all for letting me drip water onto their door-mats.
This includes Peter of The Chocolate Gallery, near Nashville, who not only insisted I drip water, but also provided a cup of REAL hot chocolate, best in the world (IMHO).
The excellent rally was in Lafayette, with visits to the source of Tabasco, and an excellent Popeye’s.
The last day of the rally had great gumbo (nine varieties), and good music.
The whole long weekend was filled with lovely people.
Big thanks to all the volunteers. They delivered real food, fun and a good event.
