This is why I popped into Florida. Take the visitor tour through the Kennedy Space Centre. Where you do not see the actual workings, you are on the same sites, and see historical pieces.
My favourite was the Apollo rocket. HUGE! Seriously big.
And the space shuttle was left asis after the last landing. Also impressive.
