As part of the “run for the border”, I stopped here after overnighting in Williamsport.
Not only was there excellent pasty&chips, but also real cups of tea. After 3 weeks of asking for tea and being given sweet,cold liquid with ice cubes, including a Chinese restaurant, this was a welcome bonus. Maybe if those chaps in Boston had not been so hasty, those many years ago…….. 🙂
With a hearty and welcome brunch, plus an even more welcome defrosting, the gods enabled me to ride home. Temperatures were around the 3degC all day, with some gusting winds.
NOTE: There was NOT A SHRED of evidence of the 6 feet of snow that enveloped this place. Except for the bobcat with a broken axle.
