Fell asleep early last night. Woke up early, but raining, so went back to sleep. Had a coffee, and then off to the Blue Whale.
Signage is not the best. Especially if you are travelling east. Look for a gravel area, north-west of Hwy66, with a big old wooden boat on dry land (the ark), and some food shacks. Best to plug in these co-ordinates,as Garmin does not treat this as a recognizable attraction.
Place is free. Run on a volunteer/not-for-profit basis. The person you will meet is “Lovely Linda” (my description) who writes children’s books. 
May be writing her next book on the topic of “my ugly brother”. Hahahahaha
