Stopped as it was time for breakfast. Ended up being Saint-Savin, where most people come for the abbey, but I stayed for the pastry.

Where I also found three ladies in a Jag. Including one who’s first degree was Physics, whom I would have given a hug, but she had a sharp knife and was a doctor 😉
They had all gotten to know each other through their husbands, who were keen on racing old cars. Hopefully, the chaps were racing, which is why the ladies were alone 😉
PS: The ladies had signed up for a river cruise, which was washed out by the heavy rain that France has been experiencing. So they were doing the same as me, following the sun, then heading to Cherbourg and the ferry to Pompey.
