Eberbach and Autumn Leaves

Uncategorized 0 Comments

Up by 8am. Another good night’s sleep.

Feeling much better, as expected. Time to take the bike out for a run.

First stop was Eberbach. Really pretty route along the river. Autumn colours were everywhere. Even though some trees had shed their leaves.
After a ride then a walk through the historic old town, I settled on the gasthof Zum Lamm. Good choice. Nothing fancy, but all done well. Perfect lunch.

Took the scenic route home.

Hard as it is, I have to say nice things about the TomTom. Whilst the first two legs of the trip were courtesy of the Michelin road map, and scenic. The homeward leg came from TomTom. Through forests, then over hill and dale. Only concern were the autumn leaves across the road.
Best part is that TomTom now shows the “travelled” portion of the route in a different colour.

Back.
TLC for the bike. Is running well, though it does sound diffent to before.
Update this blog.
And so to bed.
