Barry had the huge Ploughman’sā€Ž. Must be a quarter pound of nice cheddar there. In between the excellent ham-hock terrine.

Mine was the pork on a pea n watercress rissotto.
Very nice.

We both had the outstanding eton mess for dessert. Best ever. And HUGE. That is not a tea-spoon. That is a full sized spoon šŸ™‚

ps: In answer to my rhetorical question, yes this is England. The above venue was the Thomas Lord pub. 10mins drive from Barry’s. With a barmaid from Phoenix, Arizona.

pps: Arrived in Plymouth 6pm Tuesday. Rode to my B&B and out for a pint with Brian at 8:40pm in Weymouth. Nice pints of Wobbly Bob’s, with chips. On the following night, nice Italian pasta at Enzo’s.
