I have been to Woodstock before, but only to travel on through. Time to take a look.
The Charles Dickens pub was the highlight. Shows the footie, and serves a decent liver&bacon. Beer is cold, fizzy n tasteless.
Came on the rumour of Leicester City fans coming here. Lots of footie fans. But none from Leicester 🙁 I know. I returned several times, to check.
There some decent chocolate, as well as fresh fruit n vegetables.
There is a local brewery, but again, cold fizzy beer only.
The motel was part of the ‘Bates chain’ so a cabbie told me. Motorcycle parking was excellent. The room, so-so. Still. Nothing bit me. And my kidneys were still there when I left 😉
