As today ends, so does the 2003 Ukrainian Canadian Heritage Day in Ontario and Alberta. Hope you had fun, and food. Hospitality has always been a hallmark of Ukrainians.
In case you missed out on the fun and food, the biggest Ukrainian festival in North America, will start on Friday evening, 2023Sep15.
For those unsure where Bloor West is, here are directions and a map. Generally, I prefer the Runnymede TTC station, as the main stage is at Jane and the area can be jammed.
Who will be on stage? Click here, to see the long list.
There are multiple stages on Bloor Street West, between Jane&Runnymede. The artists do rotate between the stages. So if you miss an act on one, you may find it on the next stage shortly afterwards.
The schedule for the three days is here.
The show goes on, come rain or shine.
There is street food, at multiple locations.
A beer tent, that fills up quickly.
And vendors, of all sorts of Ukrainian things.
So be prepared, and have fun 🙂 🙂 🙂
.
NOTE: I will be there Saturday, 2023Sep16, around noon, till late.
That Saturday morning there is a promise of free coffee from Budds, for bikers. Should make the perfect stop enroute. And maybe a few other riders will come along.
How was the festival? Any pics?
Party!
Lots of food. The good places have LoOoOoOoNG queues, eg:Natalie’s Kitchen
On the bike, so no beers, nor “traditions” 😉
